Lyngen
Summets as your horizon, fjords as your refuge.
Two experiences to share: skiing and sailing, between mountains and fjords.
In the Lyngen Alps, mountains rise directly above the fjords. Aboard LEATSA, we sail from one anchorage to another to discover this superb ski touring terrain, nestled between snow-capped peaks and the sea.
Accompanied by your guide, you set off on an ascent with the fjord as a backdrop, followed by a descent where your gaze dives straight toward the ocean. The joy of skiing blends seamlessly with the thrill of discovering the mountains from a sailboat.
Sailing is an integral part of the journey. Rediscover the pleasure of moving under sail, admire the landscapes from the deck, or take part in maneuvers with the crew: a day at sea is also a wonderful way to rest your legs between two ski excursions.
Upon returning from your outings, LEATSA welcomes you into her warm embrace: a hearty meal, conversations shared about the day’s adventures, and time to unwind.
Weather and snow conditions guide the program, which is crafted with the guide and captain to match the group’s ability level and wishes. A dual experience to savor the mountains, sailing, and the joy of sharing it together.
