Answering the Call of the Sea
Offshore passages
Heading out to sea, engaging in true navigation, and sharing in the life of the crew.
Offshore passages aboard LEATSA
Aboard LEATSA, a welcoming sailboat on a human scale, you take part in the offshore passages linking our Arctic season destinations. A true sailor’s experience, guided by a professional, passionate, and pedagogical crew.
Mile after mile, you refine your skills: steering a course, trimming the sails, watching the weather, understanding a route, and finding your place in the rhythm of shipboard life. Knowledge is passed on through hands-on practice, conversations, and shared experiences.
Gradually, the sea sets the pace. Watch follows watch, and rest periods become precious. Sometimes you skirt a coastline; other times, you cross an open sea without sighting a soul. The shifting lights, the wind, and the state of the sea shape an intense daily routine, accompanied by the shared joy of moving forward together toward a destination.

For her salon: a spacious area bathed in natural light, the perfect gathering place for conversation.
For her double cabins with real beds fitted with natural-fiber duvets and pillows, and private bathrooms featuring a sink, shower, and toilet.
For her glass dome—a true outdoor lounge sheltered under glass that invites you to admire the sea, land, sky, and northern lights. Wrapped in warmth while the elements rage outside, it is exhilarating to be a privileged spectator to the dance of sails, light, wind, and waves.
For her exceptional sea-keeping qualities, reliability, comfort, and specialized preparation for Far North expeditions.
For her French flag (RIF), a guarantee of quality and safety in the selection of her crew, equipment, and operating procedures.
